SCARVO 130 / 160 / 180 / 225 filler rod

When installing the SCARVO 130/160/180/225 external staircases, the steps can be flexibly aligned. This means that the step overlap can be slightly increased or decreased as required. This makes it possible to individually adapt the entrance of the staircase to the local conditions.

With a smaller step overlap and a correspondingly larger step spacing, the distance between the balusters of two consecutive steps increases. Under certain circumstances, this can have a visual impact on the overall appearance of the staircase.

To reduce the distance between the balusters, brackets can be used as filler bars. These brackets can also be retrofitted to an external staircase that has already been installed. So if you ever need a replacement or want to extend your external staircase at a later date, this is no problem at all thanks to our modular system. A filler rod is required for each step. For example, a SCARVO M external staircase with 11 steps and a landing requires a total of 11 filler rods.

The stirrups are not only for visual improvement, but also for safety by reducing the distance between the balusters and thus preventing your pet or child from slipping through.
